About me

I’m passionate about helping students recognize their own potential and become the best versions of themselves. As a dad to a 15 year old daughter, a former teacher, and youth group leader, I’ve spent years supporting kids through challenges, growth, and big transitions. I know how powerful it can be to have someone cheering you on. I didn’t always love school growing up, and staying organized didn’t come naturally to me. Over time, I learned strategies that changed everything, and today I’m a lifelong learner who loves books, podcasts, and personal growth. Those experiences shape how I coach: with empathy, encouragement, and a “we’ll figure this out together” mindset. Students can expect a supportive, nurturing, and relatable coach who listens deeply, keeps things real, and brings positive energy into every session. I believe everyone needs a cheerleader, and I’m proud to be that person for my students. When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me at a local theatre, trying a new restaurant with family and friends, or cooking just about anything. I’m a theatre nerd at heart, a dog dad, and I write, sing, play piano, and record music. I also have a special (and mostly useless) talent for remembering movie quotes. And my favourite way to vacation is on a cruise ship.

With my "all-in" approach, I bring genuine care to every session. I want my students to know that someone on the other side genuinely cares about them and believes in their abilities. And that is me!
