    After you share your child’s availability and preferred level of support, we recommend coaches who are a strong fit and available at those times. You can then book free discovery calls with any of them before getting started, so you can choose the coach that feels right for your child.

  • Who are the coaches?

    Coachbit coaches come from diverse professional and academic backgrounds and are trained specifically in habit-building, accountability, and student support.

    All coaches go through a rigorous screening, training, and background-check process. You can view detailed coach profiles, including experience and coaching style, before meeting them.

  • Can I request a specific coach?

    Yes. You can meet coaches and choose who you believe will be the best fit.

    If you ever want to change coaches later, just email our support team and we’ll help you explore other options.

  • How will the coach interact with my child?

    Coaching includes live video check-ins alongside daily accountability via chat on the Coachbit app.

    Live check-ins are short (15 minutes) and focused, helping students stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. Between check-ins, coaches use chat to support habits, planning, and follow-through throughout the week.

    The exact number of live coach check-ins depends on the level of support you choose, but every plan includes the same core coaching experience.

  • Is Coachbit tutoring or academic help?

    Coachbit is coaching, not tutoring. Coaches don't teach school subjects. Instead, they help students plan, organize, follow through, and build strong study and life habits. Coaches can support students as they work through assignments, but the focus is on skills, not subject instruction.

  • Is coaching suitable for college students?

    Yes. Coachbit is well suited for college students who need help with organization, time management, and staying on top of coursework.

    Coaching focuses on productivity routines, planning, and follow-through to support the independence and workload that college demands.

  • Is coaching done via live video call?

    Yes. Coaching includes live video check-ins alongside daily accountability via chat. Live check-ins are short (15 minutes) and focused, helping students build consistency without feeling overwhelmed. Between calls, coaches support students through in-app chat to keep habits and plans on track.

  • My child is anxious about video calls

    That's very common, and we handle this gently. Coaches take a gradual, confidence-first approach. Early sessions may be lighter and more conversational, with time spent building trust before diving into anything demanding. Coaches are trained to meet students where they are and move at a pace that feels comfortable.

  • How long does it take to see results?

  • What if our schedule changes?

    We understand that family schedules change. If you need to adjust your child's check-in time or availability, just let us know. We'll work with you to update the schedule or explore alternative coach availability when needed.

  • What happens if my child misses a session?

    If your child occasionally misses a session, their coach will continue supporting them through chat and help them get back on track. Consistency matters, but we know life happens. Coaches focus on progress over perfection and work with students to rebuild momentum when things don't go as planned.

  • How much time does coaching take?

    Live video or phone calls take approximately 15 minutes. The daily tiny step takes between 5-15 minutes to complete. Our program will gradually integrate with their homework/studying/productivity routines, but it does this in a way that ends up saving time.

  • Can the coaching journey be customized for my child?

    Yes, the coach will customize the coaching journey to meet your child's needs.

  • At what age can my child start coaching?

    We welcome students starting from 10 years old, covering both school and college/university levels.

Account Management and Billing

  • How much does it cost?

  • How does payment work?

    Payments are handled securely via Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. We accept major debit and credit cards, and we also support HSA/FSA and some ESA payments. If you'd like to pay using HSA, FSA, or ESA funds, please email us at support@coachbit.com and we'll help you with the process. You can choose monthly billing or pay upfront annually and save 20%.

  • Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

    Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can move forward with confidence. If you feel Coachbit isn't the right fit within the first 30 days, reach out to our support team and we'll take care of the rest.

  • Is Coachbit eligible for payment with HSA or FSA funds?

    Absolutely! You can pay for Coachbit's ADHD coaching program using your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Many families already do. It's a simple way to make coaching more affordable.

    ADHD coaching qualifies as a healthcare expense when it's part of a treatment plan and paired with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN). Through our partnership with Flex, this documentation is generated automatically, and payments are processed securely.

    By paying with your HSA/FSA, you're using tax-free dollars, which can save you up to 30-40% compared to paying out of pocket.

  • Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

    Yes. You can change the number of weekly live check-ins at any time. If you upgrade or downgrade, we'll pro-rate the difference or apply a credit to your account so the change is fair and seamless.

  • How do I update my billing information?

    You can update your card details or billing information on your parent dashboard, under My Account, Billing. If you do not have access to the parent dashboard, please reach out to support at: support@coachbit.com.

  • Can I add a sibling to my subscription?

    Yes, you can add as many kids to your subscription as you would like. Get 10% off your subscription if you sign up more than one child.

  • Can I pause coaching?

    Yes. You can pause your subscription for up to two months per 12-month cycle. To pause, log in to your Parent Dashboard and manage your subscription there, or email support@coachbit.com if you'd like help.

  • How do I cancel coaching?

    You can cancel directly from your Parent Dashboard under Account → Subscriptions. If you need assistance, our support team is always available at support@coachbit.com. Please note that upfront plans include a cancellation fee, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

    Our program doesn't have a set duration because every child progresses differently. We tailor the coaching journey to your child's needs, understanding that progress in habits, skills, and routines varies over time. Our coaching supports continual growth, offering varying levels of difficulty in habits and skills and ensuring ongoing support without a fixed graduation period.

  • In which countries is coaching available?

    Coaching can be done from anywhere in the world. We have both students and coaches located internationally.

  • What devices does the Coachbit app work on?

    The Coachbit app is optimized for smartphones and works seamlessly on both iOS and Android devices. While it is also compatible with tablets, we recommend using it on smartphones for the best experience.
