With a background in Psychology and Social Development, I've developed a deep passion for engaging students in a way that ensures they can succeed, no matter the obstacles they face. Every person has the potential to be unique, but that path looks different for each of us. My coaching style is an "all in" approach, where I bring my whole heart to every session. I want my students to know that someone on the other side genuinely cares about them and believes in their abilities. I focus on what will work best for each student, not just what I think is best. One of my proudest moments as a coach was helping a student who struggled with ADHD and lacked confidence. By the time he completed the program, he had the tools to thrive in college, using strategies that worked with his ADHD, not against it. He left the program happier, more confident, and ready to tackle the challenges ahead. This is just one of the many success stories that inspire me every day. When creating personalized strategies, I prioritize listening to both the students and their parents. This combination of perspectives is vital in tailoring an approach that truly meets the student's needs. Many of my students face issues with confidence and motivation, often stemming from years of trying to fit into a mold that wasn't meant for them. I work with them to build self-understanding and introduce tools that actually work for them, empowering them to regain their confidence and spark. A typical session with me starts with an icebreaker question to gauge the student's mental state before we proceed. We then focus on reinforcing existing habits and holding the student accountable, followed by learning new content, such as building morning, evening, and productivity routines. I also believe that engagement goes beyond texting—I use voice notes and sometimes video messages to ensure that students remember there's a natural person on the other side who genuinely cares and will keep them on track. This diverse communication approach is designed to keep the student engaged and connected. Communication with parents is a vital part of my coaching process. I regularly update them on their child's progress and welcome feedback to enhance the coaching experience. Involving parents in the journey is crucial for the student's success, and my ultimate goal is to ensure that every student I work with leaves the program with newfound confidence and the tools they need for success. This collaborative approach is designed to reassure parents that they are an integral part of their child's journey.
